Globally, there is probably no single motorsport event with a higher reputation than the 24 Hours of Le Mans, the most important race in the FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC). First held in 1923, it is not only one of the oldest motorsport events in the world, but has also produced countless dramas and unforgettable winners and losers over the years.
After Manthey was responsible for Porsche's GT works entries in the LMGTE class of the FIA WEC from 2013 to 2022, the team entered the new LMGT3 class in 2024 with two Porsche 911 GT3 R, finishing as double championship leaders and 24h Le Mans winners. Together with the Iron Dames and 1st Phorm, Manthey competed in the World Championship again in 2025 and managed to win both the 24h Le Mans as well as the LMGT3 championship together with 1st Phorm. With this, the team remains undefeated in the LMGT3 category both at the 24 Hours of Le Mans and in the team and drivers’ championships.
