Meuspath. The Porsche 911 GT3 RS (992.1) equipped with the Manthey Kit has set an official lap time on the Nordschleife. Porsche brand ambassador Jörg Bergmeister completed the 20.832-kilometer circuit in 6:45.389 minutes, nearly four seconds faster than the production model. The 911 GT3 RS with Manthey Kit was equipped with the optionally available Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 R tires. Bergmeister was extensively involved in the development of the production vehicle and the Manthey Kit and set the lap time in the presence of a notary.

Perfectly balanced package for better performance on the Nordschleife

The 911 GT3 RS Manthey Kit features a comprehensive aerodynamics package that generates over a ton of downforce at 285 km/h, while drag remains unaffected. This aerodynamic efficiency is the result of two years of development and thousands of test kilometers on various European race tracks. In combination with the semi-active suspension - used for the first time and developed specifically for this vehicle - the 911 GT3 RS with Manthey Kit allows full-throttle sections on the Nordschleife that were previously almost impossible for road cars. For example, in dry conditions and with warm tires, the section from Pflanzgarten II to the Schwalbenschwanz can be completed at full throttle. In the sections Flugplatz and Mutkurve, the performance of the 911 equipped with the Manthey Kit is comparable to that of a race car on slick tires. The semi-active suspension, which is also available separately, operates in response to speed and lateral acceleration and is thus adaptively tuned for every speed range. High-performance brake components enable later braking points while providing better pedal feedback and consistent friction characteristics across a wide temperature range.

The Porsche 911 GT3 RS Manthey Kit is available through Porsche Centers worldwide. The factory warranty remains unchanged.
