Nürburg. The Porsche 911 GT3 Cup Manthey, developed by Manthey and entered jointly with the Griesemann Group, successfully completed its first 24-hour race at the Nürburgring. Powered by eFuel and equipped with recycled CFRP components, the car bearing starting number 992 crossed the finish line in 56th overall position after a nearly three-hour repair stop in the early morning hours.

Starting from 38th position, car number 992 proved competitive under the variable Eifel conditions and consistently ran within the top 30 until the halfway point of the race. However, a stone-induced technical issue affecting the throttle body, occurring with less than nine hours of racing remaining, resulted in a repair stop of just under three hours.

The team managed to fix the defect and return the car—driven by Björn Griesemann, Georg Griesemann, Marco Holzer, and Dirk Adorf (all Germany)—to the track. After completing 128 laps of the 25.378-kilometer circuit, the Porsche 911 GT3 Cup Manthey ultimately took the checkered flag at the 54th edition of the Nürburgring 24 Hours. This marked a successful debut for Manthey’s in-house development at the endurance classic in the “Green Hell,” held in front of a record crowd of 352,000 spectators.

Manthey congratulates the overall winners, all podium finishers, and the class winners of the 2026 Nürburgring 24-hour race.
